Neonatologist

Neonatology Summary:

Neonatologist is a sub specialty to a pedeitrition. Neonatology is a specialty in premature babies, born as early as 37 weeks premature. It also deals with low weight in babies and other problems. Part of the job is emerging field, babies that are diognosed and sometimes treated before their even born. Neonatologists work long, irregular hours. If you are a Neontologist in an acedemic teaching center, you can focuse more on your research and teaching so there is some downtime in Neontology. There are four years of medical school, three years of residency. You can find Neonatologist in childrens hospitals,university medical centers, and large community hospitals. As a Neontologist you get to help and save babies everyday.
